Clubs have begun to use PAUSES in lieu of RESETS. Earlier version of XLs (pre-304) did not have the PAUSE
function.

How to tell if you're up to date?
* While the XL is in ShutOFF, press & HOLD both of the instrument head buttons
* Read the far left number
* If it reads 304 then you have all the latest enhancements
* Bump either button 6 times to go to STBY
